    Old wax

I just found a tin of EagleOne "Pure Carnuaba" paste wax in my garage. It`s at least 12 years old but looks just fine and is hardly used. Does anyone know if it would be worth using as a final step? I usually polish first with Mother`s Sealer/Glaze, on a fine dimpled foam pad. In spring or if there are scuffs and scratches I compound with AutoGlym Ultrafine Renovator on a firmer and coarser foam pad first. I just bought a whole new tin of Mother`s Carnuaba paste Wax (step 3) and then found the EagleOne. Dale

For what it`s worth -- I found some Meguiar`s #16 that was at least 15 years old. It seems as good as new. Now you have a choice of which carnauba wax to use.

    Dale,

Here`s the information about my Hemi:

2003 Black Hemi 1500 Quad Cab SLT, 4X4, Protection Group, Trailer Tow Group, Electronic Transfer Case, 3.92 Anti-Spin, Rear Window Defrost, Polished 20`s, Mopar Bedliner, Mopar Step Tubes, Mopar Molded Mud Guards, Wheelwell Liners, Access Roll Up Tonneau.

Over 30,000 miles and still grinnin` from ear to ear.

And it`s a heck of a lot of truck to detail.

    Dale,
Give the wax a try on small section to see if it works, bonds to the surface and provides the shine/depth you want.

Sounds like quite the truck Tguil.
Eric, I`m going to do a shine test on my hood; one side Mother`s, one side EagleOne.

    Dale,

I`ll bet that you won`t be able to tell the difference in the results.

About the truck -- thanks for the compliment. It is quite a truck!
