    The Best compliment

thanks again for the fantastic job you did on the truck, it`s not the same truck it looks so good....love ya dad
This is an e-mail I got from my dad after detailing his truck, although the money from some of the side jobs I do is nice, this is worth more than any amount.

Here is the link to the detail with pics:

Sounds like someone appreciates a job well done and doesn`t mind giving credit where credit is due.
Pat youself on the back for a job well done.

After a 4 hour detail my father says: thanks, when do you want to do it next.

Althought I have not had my Dad with me for over 30 years. My true love for detailing and cars comes from him. While cleaning cars I often think of him.
I have given the same bug to my son who at 8 years old can pick out about any car and knows the names. He blows me away sometimes.

    Nice story Don!

Ditto, I remember at 6 years of age helping my dad clean the Rambler and watching him scrub the insides of the hubcaps with a tooth brush. Obviously at the time I couldn`t see the point but 35 years later I can honestly say I get it.

    Don....

There`s nothing better than pleasing your parents. Some of us don`t appreciate our parents until it`s too late so it`s cool to see you doing something for good ol dad.

I find it a bonding time with my father, very much like y`all. However, the funny part is that I gave him the Detailing Bug!

I usually have to drag my son, 18 years old, out to wash and detail his jeep. Gee, I hope one of these days he picks up my love for keeping our cars shiny and clean.

Funny you should mention that...dad`s asking me to set him up with some supplies to keep his cars clean after I detail them
