    Question Orange Power Pad??

Has anyone used the orange power pads from CMA? I just ordered some - i have heard they were good but i was wondering what others thought of them.

Yeah I have a bunch that I received in the mail over the winter. They are of a rougher texture than the white pads and seem a little more aggressive than I thought. They aren`t as tough as the yellow, but they are quite a bit different than white. I hope they aren`t two aggressive for the applications I plan to use them in. I wish I got more white pads now that I have felt the orange.

I agree with Rosso Scuderia that the orange pads are more aggressive than the white.

I used the orange pad recently with Megs #6, a cleaner/wax, on my wife`s Malibu and it performed surprisingly well getting out embedded dirt that I didn`t think was there.

It seems to have more "bite" making it a good choice for cleaning and scratch removal jobs.

I`ve used the 7.5" Orange pad and am very happy with it. It`s perfect for the jobs where you don`t quite need a cutting pad but need something more agressive than a polishing pad.
