    Bazooka Verses Forever Black

Heres some pictures and observations 2 different vehicles
One for Forever black Tire Gel
One for 4 star Bazooka tire gloss
    1. Clean`d all Tires with 4 Star White lightening
    2. Wash White lightening off with Dawn and water
    3. Spray`d 2 tires on one vehicle with Bazooka and 2 tires on other vehicle with Forever black.
    4. Took pictures,

    Observations:
    Forever black.
    Went on fine with applicator
    Positives:
Looks good, not bright, clean looking
    Negatives:
Container glogs, had to open it up to get product out.
Messy, had to wear blur glove or would have gotten black all over hand
    Need to have an applicator

    Bazooka:

Bazooka went on easy, quick easy sprays around the tires.
Directions say that all you need to do..
    Postives
Looks great, probably alittle to bright for me...may water it down alittle next time.
Easy application no mess. no applicator
    Negatives..
    Alittle too bright
It ran alittle down the tires..Either I didn;t apply it right or should have used a used towel and wipe`d..directions did say I needed to just spray and walk away.

What did you use the stroller and tricycle for? I only use my tricycle to get to the liquor store and back. JK
Seriously, I like the look of the Forever Black, it looks just like a new tire, nice matte finish.
Now get back to that car and dress the inner fender well and mudflap, don`t think we all don`t see that!

    Thanks for the investagative work!!!

Nice job, and good observations Jeff! Both look very nice! I agree on the look, as I like a look somewhere between the two.

This is from the 4 Star website about Bazooka...

"This product is only for those who want the slickest, wettest, and glossiest looking tire possible."

I`m gonna get some of this for my new Michelins on my `````in` Camaro Z28!!!

I would just like to say that I was deeply disappointed in forever black and think they should change the name to "Forever Streaks". I stripped everything off my trim with a couple of dawn washes and afew hours later applied Forever Black in the shade. Waited 20 minutes and applied a secound coat to see if I could cover up some of the streaks.....Nope. Didn`t work. I admit that my trim is blacker than it was but if you look from a few feet away you can really see the streaks. If I did something wrong please advise.

I have become a big fan of the Bazooka. It`s a versatile product as you can get that high gloss look or dilute it for a more natural look. You can also buff it with a terry towel to cut back on the high gloss. I`ve tried the Forever Black and to me it`s not worth the hassle.

I have been looking for a way to make my doorhandles (textured ABS I believe) on my 300E MB black (they are factory grey). Would the Forever Black work for this? I have never used it but it sounds as it may have some colorant in it.
Very nice comparison, I will look for the Bazooka for my tires the next time I can. Thanks for any input.

Forever black has 2 products that i use.
    1, Tire Gel.
    2. Forever Black Bumper And Trim Reconditioner
    I have used both.
Trim product works, but its tricky. I used it incorrectly the 1st time, but the second time I work`d it and work`d it and changed a badly worn blac bumper to very nice blac bumper.
