Chrome waxing (not polishing)

I have some new chrome.

Is it OK to use Mothers carnuba wax on chrome?
What about on chrome exhaust pipes which get hot?

Is it OK to use Mothers FX synwax on chrome?
And, OK on the exhaust pipes?

If OK, is there any preference between carnuba and FX?

You can use any of those products on chrome, hot or cold, but we do of course recommend our California Gold Chrome Polish.
