M Tech - New Products???

I was in AutoZone the other day looking for some Protectant and saw these among a few other products. New line, or did I miss something?

Re: 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn

They look good, as well as the rest of the truck. What did you use on the wheels?

Re: Any tricks to spreading on the wax?

I would listen... as everyone is just trying to help you out. A lot of these guys (and gals) have been detailing a long time. There is probably not a person on this thread that would use a "dry...

Re: Mother's vs. Meguiars. How did you decide?

That is like asking do you like Coke or Pepsi - it is a loaded question. Both make good products. Personally, my time is limited, and Mother's products tend to be very user friendly, which saves me...

Re: I damaged my clear coat, a little help? [Picture]

Try the scratch remover first, since you are working by hand. It should help.

2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn

What is the ideal or best wheel cleaner for the "clad" factory wheels, which appear to be chrome (but aren't)? Thanks.

Re: Paint with egg damage

If you don't get the eggs off pretty soon after contact, it is too late. They will eat through the clear coat, base coat, and primer down to the metal. The etching is usually permanent.

Re: Old Guy Waxing

It won't hurt anything, but I would just use the FX and FX Spraywax. Just my .02.

Re: Old Guy Waxing

If your paint is in good shape, the FX Synwax is super easy to apply and remove. It also has a great shine.

The older that I get the more I like "easy" to use products.

Re: CG Syn Wax v. FX Syn Wax

Thanks, Forrest. Hope you are doing well. I will give it a try on my new toy - 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn.

Birmingham is reasonably close - a little over 3 hours. I would like to come, but it is a...

CG Syn Wax v. FX Syn Wax

I have been out of the loop for a while, so I was wondering how the CG Syn Wax compares to the FX Syn Wax - similarities v. differences? Thanks.

Much easier to use. Good product when you have to work outside.

Re: Carnauba cleaner wax consistency?

The glaze is a step that makes the paint shine, improving appearance. If you use the glaze, you need to use a final product/wax with no cleaners in it. The Cleaner Wax and FX Synwax have some...

Re: Im new here with a question

You should try the FX. It has a high gloss finish that looks great on black and metallic finishes. Plus, it is super easy to use. I haven't found anything that is easier to use.

The Reflections...

Re: What would be a healthy Humidity percentage for Waxing?

I live in a very humid, sub-tropical climate. This time of year temps are 90 to 100 plus F. Humidity is usually between 60% to 90%. Any product is more difficult to remove, but the synthetics, like...

Re: New Mothers FX Wheel and Tire Cleaner

I tried this stuff this weekend, and wow! I was blown away. It worked and really well. I have tried a lot of spray and rinse products before with mixed results, but I have never used a product that...

Re: blowing snow

Just to add on... I have seen a dealer's prep crew cut the protective shipping plastic off with razor blades and box cutters, which as you can imagine can really screw up the paint.

Re: Jeep Hardtop

Protectant is more economical and easier to use also. It's a nice product. It leaves a nice sheen and isn't greasy. It also has a great smell, which I like.

Re: Instant Detailer V.S. Spray Wax

Correct. Showtime is also good for removing bird bombs and bug splatter. Use the spray wax in between waxes.
